Basic knowledge of polyvinyl acetate emulsion
Time:2025-10-29 Source: Hits:
Polyvinyl acetate emulsion (commonly known as white glue) is a water-based, environmentally friendly adhesive widely used for bonding porous materials such as wood, paper, and fabric. Its solid content is typically 30%-50% (according to GB/T 11175-2002 standard), with a pH value of 7-8. It is non-toxic and transparent after drying. Precautions before use:
1. Applicable temperature: The recommended application environment is 5℃-40℃. Low temperatures will reduce fluidity, while high temperatures may shorten curing time.
2. Shelf life: Approximately 12 months in unopened condition (refer to ISO 10993-5). After the expiration date, it may separate or clump.
